A Luxury Retreat
attention to detail and an artistic flair shine through
This designer villa is hidden away in the center of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Thoughtfully conceived, virtually every room enjoys a expansive ocean view filled with natural light.
Our Interiors staff truly enjoyed working with and advising the villa owners throughout the building of this estate.

On the top floor of this luxury St. John, USVI villa is a hot tub and overlook breathtaking in its extravagance and sublime beauty. Complete with a fire pit and 180º view of the Atlantic Ocean, this is the place to be when the sun sets and the moon rises.
Lustrous Bronzo tile by Ricchetti is used on the exterior wall, and interestingly, it's also used on interior walls. Yet thanks to Bornzo's ever-changing irridescent surface, it is warm and surprising. Bisazza mosaic tile is used in the hot tub itself.

Unique and thoughtful artwork grace every surface, including the entry way. Subtle LED lighting on the stairway softens any hard edges created by the natural stone slabs used to finish them. This villa is clearly not simply a showpiece, but a well loved home.

Impact resistant Plaza Doors open completely to create graceful indoor/outdoor living space. Caribbean breezes and the occasional sound of a passing ferry boat are soothing and restful whether playing dominos or shooting pool.

The spacious Great Room is cozy and personalized with treasures from the owner's travels. The natural lighting so essential throughout this home is reinforced with thoughtfully placed skylights. Industrial-looking Emerson fans stir the air on still days. Natural stone plank tiles add to an earthy and dramatic quality to an already captivating setting.

The impressive glass tabletop perched on a cactus base comfortably seats 12 guests. Notice how the Bronzo tile grabs the afternoon light and holds it so beautifully. Impact resistant sliding windows blur the lines between interior and exterior.

Pull up a barstool to this amazing natural stone bar. Hidden LED lights transforms the transparent onyx used to create this incredible conversation piece.

It's unusual to see Eco Timber bamboo planking used to line walls, but how lovely and unexpected! Its warmth compliments the Saime Ceramiche muretto tile which frames the bed. Impact resistant windows and doors open to a private terrace, ideal for a nightcap or a quiet cup of coffee in the morning.

Since virtually every room in this villa has a stunning ocean view and large energy efficient windows, it is easy to remain mindful of your glorious surroundings. International Stone Gallery's solid marble sinks and the Newport Brass East Linear fixtures are luxurious to the touch and a pleasure to use.

Rest easy among the faux animal heads and blown glass chandelier in one of six guest suites, each with its own bath and floor to ceiling windows facing the Atlantic Ocean.
As in the previous guest suite, Saime Ceramiche muretto tile and Eco Timber bamboo planks line the walls (blending perfectly with the animal heads). Natif Light Muschio plank tiles also from Saime Ceramiche cover the floors.

Lush tropical gardens surrounding the villa are beautifully reflected in the mirror. Large windows open completely should you wish to enjoy the sea breeze.
Saime Ceramiche Natif Light Muschio plank tiles transition into this luxury bath suite. Clear quartz stone is used on the shower floor and Newport Brass fixtures compliment these unusual onyx footed vessel sinks. Tasteful Porcher Venito toilet adds comfort and style.

A sophisticated use of the thick glass shower partition increases the sense of spaciousness in this luxurious master bath. With impact resistant CGI windows, it is a treat to linger in your shower while gazing over the gorgeous ocean and cays.

A chipped grey granite vessel sink takes center stage in the master toilet. No detail is too small or overlooked.

This massive hand carved chunk of grey granite sink from International Stone Gallery is so impressive in the half bath. It dominates the room and is complimented by the rugged edge of the countertop and Saime Ceramiche's muretto multicolor wall tile. The rugged masculinity is balanced by the clean lines of Newport Brass' fixtures.

Wood panel tiles in the hallway and dramatic modern art are lit by strategically placed skylights, allowing natural light may infuse every area of this home.

Settle in for Movie Night in the media room on the plush ultra comfortable sofas. As elsewhere throughout the villa, the Bronzo wall tile, natural stone plank floors and Emerson fans are used and create a sense of cohesion and continuity.

The dramatic, ever-changing Bronzo tiles are at their best in the late afternoon sunlight.

A humorous gift from a friend, the garden sarcophagus is one of many sculptures displayed on the grounds.

Lazy afternoons may be spent in the infinity pool as you gaze over the clear blue sea.

In the far distance is St. Thomas and all the lovely cays in-between. An ideal spot for sunset cocktails.
This photo captures the easy transition from inside to out thanks to the impact resistant Plaza Doors which open fully.

Cloudy skies are made beautiful with the gold flecked Bisazza pool tile. Its golden bits shimmer under the perfect reflection.

Shimmering Bisazza pool tile.

This one-of-a-kind entrance door was a collaborative project with the villa owners and an artist in Mexico. Each glass ball is handblown, each strand of metal is deliberate and thoughtful.
